Bal has been an avid wine enthusiast for over 30 years. He spends a portion of his summers in Europe exploring familiar and new wine regions, tasting and making connections with wine makers and producers who are crafting exceptional, terroir-driven wines. He holds a merit award of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 4 Diploma in Wines
