Champagne Debas-Comin
Champagne Debas-Comin in located in the Grand Cru village of Chouilly, about 5 km from the famous town of Epernay. Thierry Debas operates this small, family-owned winery that initially focused on supplying grapes to prominent Champagne houses. Over the last two decades, Thierry has crafted Champagne under his own label, and we think his Champagne is of exceptional quality.
The offerings exclusively consist of Blanc de Blancs Champagnes, meaning that they are crafted solely from Chardonnay grapes sourced from Grand Cru vineyards surrounding Chouilly. Thierry produces only 10,000 bottles of wine annually and maintains a focus on quality. His wines are rarely available outside France.
Cuvée Saphir
Cuvée Saphir is Champagne Debas-Comin’s prestige cuvée. It is a vintage champagne that has been aged on lees for at least 5 years. It is blended from base wines from the best vineyard plots that have been vinified separately. The extended lees aging gives this wine extra depth and texture, with nutty and yeasty characteristics.
